Esther Kouwenhoven is a Dutch soprano who is finishing her masters degree in classical singing with Lena Lootens at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels. She was a soloist in Bachs Matthäus-Passion, Hohe Messe and Magnificat, Gloria by Vivaldi and Carmina Burana by Orff. Her Lied-repertoire consists of Schuberts Winterreise, Schumanns Liederkreis 39, Ariettes oubliées by Debussy and Barbers Hermit Songs among others. www.estherkouwenhoven.com
Gillis Sacré studied piano with Patricia Montero and music theory with Kristin De Smedt at the RoyalConservatory of Brussels. At the Conservatory of Ghent he studied composition with Frank Nuyts and Luc Brewaeys. Works of him have been played at concert halls such as De Bijloke (Ghent), Muziekgebouw aan ’t Ij (Amsterdam), Bozar (Brussels) and at the Music Biennale Zagreb (5-minute opera competition) by artists as Trio Khaldei, Esther Kouwenhoven, Barbara Baltussen, Rita Matos Alves and Nicolas Taboulot among others.
Lien Van den Elsen
Lien is a contemporary dancer/performer and choreographer/creator, with a passion for experimental work and a mixture of different disciplines.
Beside this Lien studied philosophy and anthropology out of a fascination for the great questions of life, the strange being called “human” and his struggle with him/herself and life.
Lien followed intensive dancetraining with some topdancers from Les Ballets c de la b, Ultima Vez, Parts, Eastman, Needcompany… Throughout the years she created her own work within different and various collaborations. She also creates dancefilm with her collective Dauw: website Dauw
